MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure all children in Australia diagnosed with profound hearing loss have the opportunity to access professional treatments such as speech therapy and equipment including computers, programs and other approved learning aids that will assist them to reach their full potential in life.

Breaking the Sound Barrier

The Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment (H.I.K.E.) Fund Australia Limited gives financial assistance to hearing impaired children up to 20 years.  The charity funds equipment, services and resources to assist and encourage a hearing impaired child’s development.

This gives the child the same advantages in life and as fulfilling a future as those children who are not impaired.

The benefits we finance include

• Speech Therapy
• Educational Resources and Technology
• Educational Bursaries

There is, however, a greater story to be told. The psychological and social impacts of the benefits provided by the fund can be extremely significant in the education and development of a hearing impaired child - thus providing a stronger foundation for the child’s future.

Every child deserves this encouragement.
